Wild at Heart Creative Expression Workshops

Wild at Heart is a series of creative workshops in which we may experience enhanced trust in our intuition and develop self-awareness.  The process is designed to increase consciousness of the way we construct meaning in our lives, leading to greater self-responsibility.

Each workshop uses visualisation meditations extensively to access the archetypal mind, thus recreating and interpreting our awareness through our art.

Workshop Themes:
  • Inner Sanctuary (Taster) - painting, chakra visualisation dance, mandala creation
  • Body & Mind Balance - painting, drumming and dance
  • Body Coat - clay, crayons, mantra and third eye meditation
  • Mountain Peak - automatic writing, painting, circle meditation
  • Life Stories - your chance to express your life story in a creative way
  • Dream Interpretation - your chances to express your dreams in any creative medium and to explore their meaning

Each workshop is designed to tap into our innate creativity.  Colour is a strong theme throughout the workshops, and incorporate:

talking circle

… time to share your story within the sanctuary of the group.  To enjoy being connected with like-minded others

guided meditations

… to enhance relaxation, self-esteem and spiritual connection. Joanie and Simonette have compiled a series of nature-themed meditations to take you to your own tranquil inner sanctuary

creative visualisations

… imaginative involvement is a powerful tool assisting in the healing of past emotional and physical traumas and for creating new and rich images of our present and future lives

intuition

… we learn how to listen to the wisdom within, allowing ourselves to move through our various roles in life with peace, clarity and choice

art and painting

… enhances self-awareness and filters our unconscious processes back to our conscious selves, through painting, colour and pattern

clay modelling

… accessing our mind to unlock significant memories temporarily forgotten in conscious life

automatic writing

… accesses guidance and direction from the higher self

dance and movement

… we discover our ‘life dance’ as we become more involved in the rhythm. We express more of who we are and how we move through our everyday lives

singing/wild women call

… brings a healing resonance to the mind, body and spirit, increasing our sense of total well being

dream analysis

… provides priceless feedback.  You will develop self-awareness of the significance of your dream symbols

laughter

… nourishes the spirit and allows for new perspectives on experiences.  A good belly laugh does wonders for the stomach muscles!

Workshops are stand-alone (full day) OR run for six weeks, meeting for three hours per week.  There are several themed workshops (see above), but the Taster must be undertaken before entry to any of the later workshops or courses.

All courses are closed workshops to build trust and commitment.
